Finally, some zZzZz.

This is my latest inspiration for a new tattoo that I want to get on/across my left shoulder onto my neck. maybe. I'm not quite sure yet on the placement. My mind is racing with ideas and my creative juices are flowing because today was the launch of the senior show at FIT. Each major has this amazing section on campus displaying the best of the best. No lie, the BEST of the best. Of course I went straight to the Fine Arts area and let me tell you - I WAS SHOCKED. Mainly I was in awe and envious because the talent was at a professional level. I can't wait until next spring when it will be my turn to showcase my body of work. Although next year, there will be a little twist. Since there are two blocks (two sections that the seniors will be divided into) the senior show will be a voted on. So the best will survive which means I will have to step up my game. I feel like there is a lot of rising talent and now is the time to start developing my senior thesis concept.

But now that I have time to actually write, hopefully I can remember all the tiny details that I thought would be interesting to comment on. I've already mentioned the things that I really enjoy from sounds, scents and actual tangible things but I like the more indirect situations or people that I run into in my daily life. Like Mohamad, he works at the lamb gyro cart across the street from my job. He catches the same 5am train as me and started making conversation with Ryan (friend and coworker that lives 3 blocks away from me) and I about small stuff like going to the beach on his day off, and going out drinking and smoking with his cousin looking at girls with big boobs. He asked me I ever notice girls with 'em and I just shrug and say, "I've never looked really". I don't know if he knows that I'm gay, you know some people don't assume or have prejudgements. He's a smart guy, 21 but looks like 28. Very mature, I guess he has to be just like me, you can read that about certain people. Or what about Lauren. A regular at work who is the sweetest person I've ever met, well-spoken, polite and happens to be from the same area in Texas as me. She lives in the same building as my job (so above me) and her and her husband always ask about school and my personal life. And it's not just, "Oh how's life", it's sincere and I like that. Anyway, I had no idea that is a broadway star so when I looked her up online, I found out so much footage of her singing The Sound of Music and her role as Maria. I was impressed with her outside life away from being my regular that I respect and envy her THIS much more. There is Jasmine, the pharmacist at Duane Reade that is so quiet and shy that I can't help but notice the kind of girl she is. She's nice and quiet and always says "yes please, and no thank you". I wonder what's her story. I ask myself that question a lot when it comes to people that I see on a recurring basis. I wonder how many people are true New Yorkers, or how many of them come from another state. But see, this is my ADD kicking in because clearly that's another topic for another entry.

So it's roughly 8:15pm now and I'm about to shower, get a quick bite to eat and go to bed! This makes it one week that I've moved into my new place and I've still got lots to unpack. I've been so busy with socializing and working and school that I'm drained. It would be nice to get some sleep for a change! (Maybe talk with Bruno too, but we've been playing email/skpe tag for a few days now) LOL

MMM sleeeeeep. :)

(PS, I'll post pictures soon of my new place , I won't keep you hangin'!)
